Greetings,
Even though this day, I am busy with all the food preparations, it is still a day for me to just take a pause from life and give thanks to God. I am thankful that today, all is well in our world, and I am delighted to savor this day with family. I know some families do not have this luxury. Today in my mind, I will try and live in the moment and absorb all the goodness and memories that this day brings.
It is very good for me, since lately I have felt a little beat up, and lost. Have you ever felt like running away? I have so much to be grateful for and this day I will delight in the goodness of my God.
My mind will become a video camera catching all the smiles and laughter....the hugs and love of my family, to be replayed over and over with delight and encourage my heart.
