Having a Melody in my Heart

Music is so powerful. Music during a movie sets the tone for suspense and drama. Would Rocky really be able to run up the stairs without his theme song Gonna Fly Now? It also helps us feel light-hearted and happy. What would Sound of Music be without songs or Aladdin be without his singing  Genie?


God's word tells us to sing, to make a melody in our heart. 


"Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord." Ephesians 5:19

Today I needed a song....

My God is awesome and loving and strong, and today I worship Him with my whole heart and life.
