I Am Glad This Winter is Over

This morning i was posting on our church fb sight another baby being born. It made me reflect on the verses in Ecclesiastes 3, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die....." It has been an eventful "season" in our church. Several people with chronic sicknesses and last week a tragic death of our dear friend Jason. But mostly I see a season of laughter and joy. We have had and will have many births and marriages by this summer's end! Including my own dear son Jed. And did i mention spring after a long winter? Although, i did enjoy a 'good' winter. i mean if winter is here why not go for lots of snow instead of our typical rainy northeaster with it's misery. Even the winter this year was refreshing and exciting! And after my own 'winter' season, it feels amazing. i can breathe again, instead of feeling like a had to hold my breath.

So i look forward to a time of babies, blooms, warm weather and planting, young love and marriages, laughter and dancing, and my own Romeo and summer romance.
